Welcome to the 21st century

I know this is supposed to be about accordions or crenoline skirts or even travel tidbits from our far-lung tour locales. But I need to just see if this actually posts at all. I admit, blogging is a new thing and I've never posted one before. It's sort of an odd idea, posting one's stream of conscious journal entries to some unknown audience glued to their computer screens. Of course I resisted cell phones until my car broke down in East L.A. at midnight a few years ago. So maybe some other unforeseen disaster will likewise lure me into the world of blogging.
